It seems that the US will never stop going to war with something. For as long as I could remember, the US of A has always been at war, and it seems that no matter what happens, it can almost be guaranteed that America will never truly find peace.
From the War on Commies to the War on Drugs, here is another example for you.
Since the dawn of the ‘not-so-glorious’ Donald Trump presidency. The fighting between seemingly purist hardcore Republicans and their Liberal rivals has become even more controversial.
The newest controversy relates to Senate Bill 4, a sad attempt by Texas officials designed to crack down on “sanctuary cities”.

For a long time now, America has been dealing with a huge illegal immigrant issue. Last year an estimate of over 1 million illegal aliens entered the US.
408,870 illegal aliens were apprehended in 2016, this number up 23 percent from 2015.
Lucky for many, Chief U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia ruled that SB 4 would not be implemented.

In a 94-page ruling, Judge Orlando Garcia stated SB4 would “erode public trust and many communities less safe.”
Senate Bill 4 would give local law enforcement the power to ask for a person’s immigration status during routine interactions including traffic stops. Furthermore, it threatened local officials with fines and removal of office if they did not comply with the requests from federal immigration authorities.
Luckily, SB 4 will not see the light of day thanks to Chief U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia.
Gov. Greg Abbott will be appealing the decision. Attorney General Ken Paxton followed suit stating
“Senate Bill 4 was passed by the Texas Legislature to set a statewide policy of cooperation with federal immigration authorities enforcing our nation’s immigration laws. Texas has the sovereign authority and responsibility to protect the safety and welfare of its citizens. We’re confident SB 4 will ultimately be upheld as constitutional and lawful,” – Paxton
So there you have it, Americans doing what they do best, fighting over something. Let’s face it, people, The United States doesn’t look so united lately and the world continues to watch their every move.
